Our Fleet consists of 19 rigid body trucks:
Lightbody Transport is proud to be a Queensland owned and operated company and has been successfully operating in the transport industry for almost 50 years.
- 12 curtainsiders which have been custom built to carry bulk, lightweight freight. These all have 14 pallet carrying capacity (9m length) with an internal clearance of 2.9 – 3 metres and carrying capacity of between 4-8 tonne.
- 4 flat top trucks with 9 metre trays capable of carrying 4-6 tonne.
- 4 crane trucks with 9 metre trays capable of carrying 7-10 tonne.
- 4 curtainsiders trailers with capacity of taking 10 pallets.
Isuzus, Hinos, Mitsubishis & Ivecos
To keep our high standard of service and reliability our vehicles meticulously maintained my both our in-house mechanic and subcontractors. Our Fleet is make up of Isuzus, Hinos, Mitsubishis and Ivecos. Our entire is regularly cleaned to maintain a presentable and professional image for but Lightbody Transport and our customers.
All our vehicles are fitted with state-of-the-art tracking and navigation devices. Each vehicle has a tablet which are the interface of our orders and booking system. This has improved our efficiency and given more control to both our customers and staff.
